About Nämdöskärgården National Park
Nämdöskärgården National Park is Sweden’s first marine national park in the Baltic Sea, located in the Stockholm archipelago.
The marine area in the national park is rich in variation, with large differences in depth, wave exposure and different types of seabeds. The land area is spread across around a thousand islands, islets and skerries. The main entrance to the national park is on the island Bullerö.
When the national park was established in 2025, there were two nature reserves in the area: Bullerö and Långviksskär nature reserves. A smaller area on Långviksskär remains as a nature reserve, surrounded by the national park.
Ninety‑seven percent of the national park’s area is sea.
